The trip itself didn't go exactly to plan, but we ate out an impressive 7 times and had some awesomely good food. I paddled in the English Channel and we even got time for a little shopping, including Heals, Montezumas and my favourite kitchenware shop in the country - Steamer Trading. The weather, having been gorgeous the week before was mixed; with periods of rain, sunshine and cloud. We stayed in the ever glamorous Brighton Travelodge so we had more money to spend on food.
